Liposuction can remove stubborn areas of fat that do not respond to traditional weight loss methods. During the surgery, a small incision is made and a pencil-sized cannula (tube) is passed to suction the fat. One or two stitches are used to close the incision. After surgery, you may find that you are more comfortable in a wide variety of clothes and more at ease with your body.
